Meet Susan. She gets excited when she talks about unlocking the wisdom in the body. But this you may never know, because she’ll spend your entire session focused on you, how you feel, how you respond to the bodywork.
You’ll walk out feeling aligned and never know that she was learning from your body exactly what you need. This is both a skill and an art.
Susan was training to climb Mount Rainier until she blew out her knee. Frustrated by her determination to summit, not climbing that mountain was not acceptable to her. Always reaching, always climbing, always achieving both physically and at work on the corporate ladder – that mountain became a symbol for life change. She needed a new mountain to conquer and she got it. Through healing her own body, she discovered yoga and the power that lies within each of us to tap into what we need to not only heal, but restore optimal health.
